Welcome to release 3.0.  There are many new enhancements in this release.  Please review the release video as it will provide an overview of the enhancements.  Also, there are additional videos for certain enhancements.  Please click on the links for further details.

Share The Wealth – Have you created phrases for your system?  Did you know you can share your phrases with the rest of the ChiroWrite community?  Phrases are easily shared from the Administration > WorxPhrase menu.  Simply click on the phrase and click the “Share Selected” button.  Sharing phrases will allow other DC’s to download your phrases into their ChiroWrite system and you can download phrases that have been shared by other DC’s.  We hope every DC will take advantage of the opportunity to help a colleague and share what they have created.  If you would like to share but are not certain how, please contact us and we will help you get started.

 

Spell Check – ChiroWrite now comes with spell check! Enabling this functionality is simple. Navigate to Administration > System Configuration > Defaults > Global Tab 4 and check the box next to Enable spell check. Click save and close when finished. Please exit ChiroWrite completely to fully activate spell check. Creating a custom dictionary is easy by navigating to Administration > System Configuration > Custom Dictionary to begin adding words. Be sure they are spelled right!!!

 

Case Alerts – ChiroWrite functionality has been changed to allow alerts to be set by a case type rather than on a patient by patient basis. This can be completed by first creating the alert by navigating to Administration > Alerts. Once the alert is created, it can then by used when navigating to Administration > Case Types. Choose a case type to add an alert to and click the edit button, then choose the alert button to add an alert to the specific case being changed.

 

Print All Notes Based on Case or Time Frame – Functionality has been added to Chirowrite to allow users to print off any type of note that is completed during a certain time frame or for a specific case type. In the past, user were only allowed to print off SOAP notes using this functionality so it has been expanded to include Exams. This can be accomplished by navigating to Office Activities > Reports. Notes can be printed all by case within a date range or by date range only. By choosing print all, the system will print all note regardless of SOAP or Exam within the range.

 

 

Sign After Service – ChiroWrite has been updated to allow patient's to sign for care after at the end of their treatments. Users will need the Topaz 1x5, 4x3 or 4x5 signature pad for this functionality to work properly. Users can turn this function on by navigating to Administration > System Configuration > Defaults > Global tab 4 and check the item labeled Enable Post Procedure Signing.

 

Custom Screens - ChiroWrite has increased functionality of the custom screens to 10 in both the SOAP custom buttons and Exam custom buttons. Setup of the buttons themselves is sill found by navigating to Administration > Custom Screens. Users will need to add the new custom screens they need to the worxflow they are using. Medical Screens - Updates have been made to include more medical focused screens so providers might be able to fully document review of systems and exam of systems. There is a new worxflow template called Medical where all these screens can be found and users can add these sections to their own templates as well.

 

Maximum Number of Backups - ChiroWrite has been updated to allow the system to keep a specific number of backups and delete older backups that are not needed. Users can navigate to Administration > System Configuration > Backup/Restore and set the number of backups they would like ChiroWrite to leave in the backup directory. Be sure to save your changes when finished.

 

 

Scheduler Updates

Credit Card Processing – ChiroWrite has partnered with a credit card processing company called Accelerated Payment Technologies. They make a product called XCharge. For more information on how your scheduler can use integrated credit card processing, please call 407.772.2100. 

 

Memberships or Prepaid Plans – The scheduler now has the ability to accommodate memberships or prepaid plans that might be used within an office. Setup can be completed my navigating to Administration > Membership/Prepay Plans. Multiple membership or prepaid plans can be created for different levels or needs. A description is needed along with amount, visits allowed and a specific fee profile to follow for charge amounts. Billed every and day of charge can be used if using the XCharge credit card processing to run charges.

 

 

Inventory – The scheduler has been updated to allow for inventory upkeep and profitability reporting. User can input a quantity of product that they might have in inventory, a number of product at which they need to reorder more product and the price at which the product is purchased. Email Receipt – Users will now have the option to email the receipt to their patient rather than print it out and hand it to them. In order to send an email, your email settings must be set in the defaults section of ChiroWrite. Should you need assistance, please contact our office at 407.772.2100.

 

 

 

Email Reports and Transaction Log – The scheduler has been modified to allow the user to email different reports or transaction logs that are created within the system. Navigate to Office Activities > Reports generate the report that is needed. Once the report has been created, a send button will be present on the report screen to allow the user to email it where they may need. Send Message Now – The scheduler has been modified to allow the user to send an immediate text message or email to the patient. This can be done by clicking on the name of a patient in the schedule, then clicking on Patient Activities > Send Message Now. The user will be presented with a window to enter in their message and click the send button. In order to send an email, your email settings must be set in the defaults section of ChiroWrite. Patient Waiting List – Functionality has been added to the scheduler to create a waiting list of patient who would like an earlier appointment if another patient cancels their appointment. This can be maintained by Navigating to Office Activities > Waiting List. Click the Add button to being entering a patient into the list. Click the edit button to edit any details and click the remove button to remove a patient from the list. 

 

Kiosk Updates

Outcomes based on Date – ChiroWrite has been updated to allow an outcome assessment to be taken by the patient in the kiosk after a specific date rather than a certain number of visits. Navigate to the patient's case and edit the kiosk tab to input a date after which ChiroWrite should have the patient take the specific outcome assessment. Be sure to save your changes.
